Located in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district, the Chandrashila Challenge offers an awe-inspiring journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Garhwal region of the Himalayas. The trek starts from a remote village with an acclimatisation hike to the spectacular Deoria Tal (2438 m). This is followed by a rest day, where a naturalist conducts an interactive session to bring you up to speed about the wildlife and the flora & fauna of the region. The trek finally proceeds to the Tungnath Temple via Chopta, until you summit Chandrashila Peak (4000 m).
