Deo Tibba Base Camp
Located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, and situated in the Pir Panjal Range, the Deo Tibba trek is a gruelling yet rewarding experience for adventure enthusiasts. Deo Tibba's distinctive dome-shaped peak is similar to an ice cap, with a flat summit plateau (as opposed to a pointed ridge). Per local legend, this peak is a gathering place for the Gods, hence the name's derivation from 'Deo' (Gods) and 'Tibba' (Hill). The trail traverses steep ice passes, glaciers with crevasses, a rock fall area, and a ridge. Along the way, you pass by remote valleys and villages, including Jogidugh, Panduropa, Setan, and Hampta Pass.
