The Druk Path trek begins in the picturesque Paro Valley and follows a trail through pristine forests, open yak pastures, and stunning high ridges. Along the way, experience the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan as you visit sacred mountain lakes, traditional settlements, and even a reputedly haunted monastery. Reach the summit of Simkota La (4,210 meters) before descending to Thimphu, Bhutan's charming capital city. Each part of Bhutan has its own historical, geographical, cultural and religious significance, and any visit to this alluring and largely unspoiled setting will combine spectacular mountain terrain, ancient monasteries, rich flora & fauna, and a vibrant Buddhist culture.
