Maldaru Lake

Nestled near Sankri Village, Maldaru Lake is a pristine gem located east of Osla Village in the Harkidun Valley. Revered by locals as a goddess, this sacred lake offers a breathtaking experience. The Maldaru Lake trail winds through expansive alpine meadows and dense pine forests of Vishkhopri and Rashi villages, making for ideal camping spots. As you reach the lake, ascend to Baiycha (4,000 meters) for panoramic views of Swargarohini and Kala Nag. The trek concludes with a descent into the Ruinsara Valley, rejoining the Harkidun trail to Taluka. This enchanting journey combines natural beauty, cultural significance, and unforgettable views.
