Harnag Lake
The Harnag Lake trek is Kashmir’s most pristine and scenic trek. The trail begins in Aru, a village 12 km from Pahalgam and approximately 112 km from Srinagar. The distinct landscape offers an otherworldly tranquility amid beautiful forest walks, alpine lakes and glaciers. Infuse your senses with the sheer beauty of Nafran Valley's green meadows and fragrant pine forests next to the flowing Aru River. The ethereal quality to the fairytale-like Harnag Lake (3500 m) makes for the dreamiest campsite that is sure to leave you spellbound. On crossing Harnag Lake, you witness a distant view of the Kolahoi Glacier and the glorious east face of Mt. Kolahoi.
